Manchester, UK
Hi all,

We all pretty much know the iPhone is coming out later today (I am on UK time), but what I would like to know is will it be worth queuing up outside the Manchester Arndale Centre Apple Store? Or do people not bother in the UK? If so what time should I turn up?

The Guardian is reporting that the new iPhone goes on sale in the UK next month, so personally, I'd wait until tonight or tomorrow to get the precise news before planning on queuing.

No it'll probably be closed, but I am talking about in the morning. If Steve says "It's available everywhere from now", then should I get up at like 4-5am and go and sit by the Apple Store?

Remember, Manchester has 2 Apple Stores, and I am not sure if the UK all flock to the store to get it as soon as possible like in the US?

Talk about desperate....what's the hurry...there wont be a shortage of iphones in the coming months...if it's sold out the instant it's release..Apple will churn out more iphone...so hang in there a little while

There's always 'morning lurkers' outside the Apple stores regardless of the day. If you're THAT desperate I'd get there an hour early. But I doubt there'd be any need..
