Hi everyone!

I did a fresh install of Mavericks on my mid-2012 15 inch MBP (non-Retina) in the very first day it was released. Although I am happy with the OS in general, sometimes I get trackpad freezes (especially zooming in/out does not work in safari or preview). I have to press the power button twice within 2-3 seconds and things get back to normal ... I did not have any of these issues back in Mountain Lion, so I assume it's a software bug. Should I perform a reinstallation of Mavericks ? I am running 10.9.1 btw. Thank you.

It is a bug which has been reported several times in this forum. I think it only affects some machines, not everyone. So, I am not sure if reinstalling will help you.
