Should I remove battery when using AC power?

I just read this article: http://www.interrupt19.com/2008/03/31/8-ways-to-help-your-macbook-battery-last-as-long-as-it-can/ and it mentions that excessive heat can reduce battery life. My MBP tends to heat up a lot. I would like to know if anyone here removes their battery when they are on AC power, and I would like to know if other, more experienced, MB users would recommend this.

if you remove it and the ac adapter cannot provide enough power: your machine will shut down. keep the battery in.

Also you should know, when the batteries out of the computer, especially on full charge, it dies quicker than when its left in.

Nope, it will just throttle your CPU to prevent your computer from shutting down. Please read your own links

Okay, thanks for the advice. I will keep my battery in the laptop.
