Should I return my Magic Mouse for something less "unpredictable"?

I bought my Magic Mouse this past weekend, and I loved it after installing MZoom, as most of you who do have this mouse know it moves very, very slow. I do a lot of image editing and graphic design and I need a precise cursor for when I use the pen tool. I've noticed the MM can be slightly unpredictable. It would probably be fine without MZoom but then it would be too slow.

I've heard good things about the Logitech Performance Mouse MX, but I want to love my Magic Mouse! Should I return it and buy a superior Logitech mouse?

I'm not sure what to do.. help.
