I recently dragged some old mp3 files over to iTunes. These files contained album art which I had scanned about 3-4 years ago using a Canon flatbed scanner, Elements 3 and with the max jpeg quality setting.
These images now look really bad in iTunes. The quality isn't great and the color profile is even worse. They seem more saturated and darker than newer scans I have done. ALl the art is in 600x600 or 700x700.
My question is - should I save the color profile (usually it's RGB.XXXX or whatever) in the Save As... dialog box in Elements 6? What does the added profile do for the images?
