iPod touch Should I save some $ by buying a refurb 1G touch or buy a 2G?

So its only $220 to get a refurb 16gb 1G touch and I can get the new 16gb for $281 from apple. I dont think I would ever really use the speaker or the Nike+ stuff but am wondering if you guys think the difference in battery life, new form factor and easy access volume control are worth the extra $$. Thanks in advance for your advise and opinions.

Get the refurb and use the extra cash for the app store

I think the volume control alone is worth $60. Does the 1g come with 2.0 software? If not, I think that is another $10.

Really not a whole lot of difference besides nike+ and the speaker. The 1st Gen would also allow you to use your current chargers and docks which is nice....
