Should I Sell My Asus Laptop and Purchase The iMac?

I have an Asus Laptop with the Intel i7-720qm CPU with the 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5730 GPU. My laptop is on my desk for 99.9% of time and I am not a pc gamer. I used to have an Intel Core Duo iMac a couple of years when they were in the white frame and I liked it a lot. I want purchase a desktop, but only in the all-in-one form factor. I'm wondering if I should sell my laptop and get the $1499 iMac with the 21.5" screen and is there any advantage on the $1499 iMac over my Asus laptop?

Since you're asking, probably not. Your Asus laptop probably runs what you need it to just fine.
