Should I sell my macbook?

I bought one of the aluminum unibody 13" macbooks about 4 months ago. I'm debating whether or not I should sell it on ebay. I'm looking to sell it and purchase the white version and get the student discount along with the free ipod touch with the money I make from selling.

Good idea? Bad idea?

Eh, the money you'd be losing is worth more than the ipod. Keep what you've got, and love the one you're with.

I think you should sell it before the value depreciates more, but I think you should get the new 2.26 model instead with the discount. It'll be better for resale in the long run, plus you get to keep the beautiful aluminum body.

I think it would cost less to just save up for an iPod. And the current white MacBook won't be noticeably faster than your uMB. If you are willing to take a little loss and really want the white plastic MacBook, then go for it. Otherwise, I think it's a bad idea.
