Now with 1.1.3 out and these new apps (that you have to pay for), just don't know if I should stay with the oldest firmware even though I have all these apps plus more without paying anything

I am staying with 1.1.1 ......eventually a jailbreak will be released (a no brainer one) for 1.3

also ther is no way of knowing what the sdk will bring next month or how much apple will charge.

Right now we have the best of everything in 1.1.1

Together we stand, divided we fall. Im also keeping my 1.1.1 I'm happy and as far as I know there is no great difference between the 1.1.1 and the 1.1.2 besides it's better to be safe than sorry. I bet apple has deviced a plan to stop Installer from working on 1.1.3 because it's taking too much business away from them, greedy bastards. I rather pay some one that develops software for jailbreak 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 instead of paying APPLE.

YES!!!!!!!!

stay with 1.1.1

i went all the way up to 1.1.3 from JB ipod 1.1.1, and i am kicking myself.... untill February when the SDK comes out...

but stick with JB 1.1.1, had alot of fun with that....

I am staying with 1.1.1, because i mean common... i have had these programs that jobs is trying to sell me for 20$ for free a whole month ago, i'm sorry, but it does seem that they are trying to suck a little more, at 20 bucks a pop, how many ipod touches? i think they will give back the 20 dollars to ppl who already paid and give it for free after they realize maybe less than 5% will buy that crap...

Does anybody know if I buy an ipod touch with 1.1.3 firmware pre-installed, that I can jailbreak and downgrade it to 1.1.1?

If I do, will I also have to pay for the 1.1.3 firmware if I decide to upgrade again?

up, a;; of the peeps thinking of waiting till febuary,

be warned, the 1.1.3 update is only for january so if you wait you may loose the chance

I prefer the 1.1.2 jailbroken iPod touch over 1.1.1 but either is fine I guess, but I just know that 1.1.2 jailbroken is more stable and quicker (i think).

Bitter.

Alright for us early birds ;)
But due to not being to Update to 1.1.2 anymore, the jailbreak for 1.1.2 no longer works for the newcomers :/
