Should I take the 512gb or 1tb?
I have been thinking about this for some time. I am using now 166 on my thinkpad and want to upgrade my computer. I plan on owning the Pro for about 4-5 years so what do you think?
I mainly just use the computer for nothing professional.

I went 1TB, you can't expand it later and it's better to have too much than not enough later down the line. Even if you never fill the 1TB at least you'll never be worried and checking how much space you've got left.

I went with 512GB. Felt like the option with the best cost/benefit relationship at the moment. YMMV.

Yeah. You never know when you will need the money.

I went with 512GB, I have a 2TB external for all my old files. I don't like having junk taking up space on my computer.

I went with the stock 512GB for my 15" as I think that the current MBP is a compromise that I'll sell within a year or two, should there be anything better on the horizon.
