I've always loved to edit movies, and I'm starting to desire more options than iMovie '08 offers. I'm not exactly sure how easy to use it is. Also, I'm not sure if my 2.4 ghz. Macbook will run it very well. Has anybody run FCE on a White MacBook with ease?

FCE should run just fine on your MB. How much RAM do you have, I would recommend a min of 2 gigs. FCE is the more consumer happy version of Final Cut Pro so it should be just fine. Just a suggestion though, try not to open up to many other programs while rendering your movie as it will go a lot slower and tax the CPU, could cause glitches as well in the final product. And it's not a huge plunge to take at $140 on Amazon. Now Final Cut Studio, now that's a plunge...
