I hate the way how companies like HP install rubbish on your computer that you don't want. Right now, I think I have about 6 HP apps running: HP IO Classic Proxy, HP IO Classic Proxy 2, HP Event Handler, HPIO Trap Monito, hpusbmond, and hpdot4d. Should I delete some of these, as I think I don't need 2 HP IO Classic Proxies ( I don't run Classic either).
Thanks for any advice.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough.
Do you think something bad would happen, if I deleted these? I could only think this would benefit me.

If it were me, they'd be gone already.
I'll take that as "delete them":p.
But, do you this will affect doing stuff with my printer?

You could PM adagioblue to see what happened when s/he removed them ... although s/he doesn't seem to be very active on the forum (only one post).

I've PMed him, but I'm not expecting much. Maybe I should just get rid, see what happens, and if anything bad does happen, I'll reinstall the stuff.

Ink level check doesn't work

but it's quite possible to print without all these background processes.

I haven't tried scanning yet.
