Should I update to Snow Leopard?

I just got my brand new 2.66ghz iMac in the mail..

Wondering wether it is worth installing snow leopard before I painfully switch everything from my old computer to this one.

I don't want to deal with stupid ****, but also dont want to have to redo my entire system later..

Is it worth it?

Most of the stuff is minor and will be fixed. You should definitely upgrade.

Yeah, do a clean install of SL now. Any glitches will be minor and will by ironed out in the near future. The exception would be if you need the machine for work and a program you use is not supported yet.
