Hey guys. I'm on a Macbook Air 11 inch (Early 2014) with 4GB RAM/120GB storage that's currently on Yosemite. It runs well for the most part and is responsive. I have an update in my update center for High Sierra (10.13). Should I update it, find an older version and update from it or just leave it?

Thanks.

Hypothetically, even if the newer OS ran slower, for security reasons alone I would update.

I compromised and put it on Sierra (for the purpose of running apps) and so far, it's running okay but the battery seems to be dying at a reasonable rate also. Seems to be less glitches and freezes but I'm still not sure about High Sierra/Mojave. Heard some bad things about updating to those on this particular system. Seems less optimized for them.
