One of my coworker dont really like the "light weight" of the Air and want to downgrade to the Ipad 4. He gave me the opportunity to trade him my Ipad 4 + 100 usd for his Ipad Air

Should I ??

I went from iPad 3 to Air which is not exactly the same as your situation but I would totally agree: do it. The Air is much nicer to hold while sitting on the couch. Bonus: the speaker sound quality, while obviously not as good as a pair of headphones, is much better on the Air.

Thanks for the replies everyone

Im a bit hesitated since the battery on the Air seem to be a downgrade from Ipad 4 since it house a smaller size battery. I mean bigger usually lean toward lasting longer and everything right ?

I use my tablet alot so battery is very important to me

The ipad air screen requires less power. So although the battery is smaller, it's got the same battery life as the ipad 4. The smaller battery on the ipad air means it will take less time to charge full, another advantage of the air over the 4.

It appears the consensus is YES and I'll cast my YES vote as well. It's unanimous. You simply MUST do this deal now..... :)

I WISH I were in your shoes right now!

What a great way to upgrade to an Air AND make someone else happy at the same time.

Right now I wish I could bump my iPad 4 64GB Wifi to an iPad Air 64GB Wifi+Cellular but the cost is too high.

depends if u have ios6 or 7 on the 4, i'd take a 4 with ios6 over air anytime. ios7 on the air is horrible

If it's the same capacity, yes I would.

Just be sure to check for damage (especially water). Might be your coworker, but better safe than sorry.

Ive been thinking about selling my ipad 4 and buying the air at best buy, pretty much the same deal that you are doing.

I have both an iPad 4 and an iPad Air, and I notice almost no difference in speed. The air is easier to hold one handed when walking around the house. Not sure I would pay $100 more for the convenience of the air though.

Same here. I've been getting insanely long battery life with my iPad4 (running iOS 6.1.3 until last night...when I upgraded to 7.0.6 to apply the SSL fix)

It is not-uncommon for me to get 12, 13, even 14 hours of usage on a full battery charge.

That is a snap yes. Went from a 3 to air this week. Just the weight and size differences alone make it worth it. Being able to actually hold it for games or type in portrait mode is worth more than $100 to me.

Lol It basically cost me $300 to upgrade from 3 to air and it was def worth it to me. It wouldn't be thought at $100........
