Should I upgrade to a refurb iMac?

Right now I have a MBP 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB 667MHz DDR2, 250GB HD, 256mb VRAM plugged into a Dell 2005FPW.

I was thinking about selling it all (how much do you think I can get?), and upgrading to a base iMac for games and overall stuff.

Any opinions? I kind of wish I could upgrade to a newer MBP, but I just feel like I would have to spend so much more to get the stats and value of the iMac.

What do you guys think?

Base iMac with 9400M is worse than your MBP. Get at least the high-end 21.5" with ATI 4670, 9400M is terrible for gaming

Refurb store still carries 24"s, 1349$ for 3.06GHz with GT130 but for 50$ less, you can get 21.5" with ATI 4670 http://www.refurb.me/

Yeah, ATI 4670 is about twice as fast as 8600M GT is, so it should be a nice upgrade

Cool.. I think thats what ill do. In your opinion, whats a fair price to start my mbp and dell 2005fpw at on craigslist?

$800ish from MBP and $100ish from the display. You can start from 900$ and 150$ and then lower them by couple 10$ by time
