I purchased the iPhone 4 with a 3-year contract from Rogers last summer, for about $150 (16 gig).
Now, there's two reasons I want to upgrade to the 4S:
1) The speed improvements, better camera, and upgraded bluetooth
2) So I can get rid of the iPhone 4, before it loses its value. If I hold onto it until the end of my contract (mid 2013), it will likely be worthless, similar to the iPhone 2g and 3g now (and also assuming it even still works by then, seeing as how my battery can barely last a day now, whereas it used to last 2-3 days when I first got it)
So, I'm thinking of either eBay'ing my phone, or putting it on Craigslist.
Considering that it is in mint condition, and has been wearing a case since the day I bought it (zero scratches anywhere, i kept it in excellent condition), how much can I expect to get for it?
The 4S without a contract (here in Canada) is $650 new from apple, so I'd like to cut off as much as I can off that with the sale of my iPhone 4.
Also, keep in mind that apple is selling the iPhone 4, 8gb unlocked, for $550 now.
Thanks!
