Hi MacRumors! I have currently a Macbook pro (early 2011) 2.3 GHZ with 4GB of RAM and I am wondering if I should upgrade this computer to the somewhat new macbook air computer announced today. If I was to upgrade I could probably get the top of the line macbook air line one which I can get the 13 inch 2.0 GHZ 256 GB flash storage model. The reason why I am considering upgrading to the macbook air is because I am going to college this fall and I am wondering if it would be a better idea to get a lighter weight computer to take from my dorm room to the library and classes and such instead of lugging around my 4.6 pound computer I have right now. I should also note that I am hoping to sell my macbook pro for $1000 which would help offset the costs. Any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks a bunch in advance!
