Should I upgrade XP OS or just buy ipad to solve itunes compatibility issues? I'm sure you have heard this one, "can't get itunes library downloaded to iphone4. Advise as to merits of both options to include the cost factor would be appreciated. Thanks.

Umm maybe if you could be clearer on your problem we could offer some suggestions.
I'm not entirely sure how buying an iPad would help you get your iTunes music library onto your iPhone 4...

Why not update your XP thru windows update and then also update itunes to the latest version.
Itunes and the iphone 4 run fine on windows XP.

I have a Mac runnung OS X and a Windows machine running XP, and have never had any problems with running iTunes on either. User error maybe?
