I have 4 iMacs there all ruining different Mac OSs 2 is on Snow Leopard, 1 is on lion, and the other one is on Mountain Lion. I want to upgrade one of my Snow Leopard Macs to Mavericks but I know that my Mountain Lion computer lags like there's no tomorrow but is Mavericks slower on a iMac than Mountain Lion?

If your Mac is slow, it's not because of the OS, but because your Mac isn't powerful enough.

First, get an SSD (SSD Macs usually boot up within 12 seconds)

Then if you have only 4GB of RAM, check how much swap you're using. If the swap is high, upgrade your RAM.
