It would make no sense to make it thinner than it already is.
We will get less battery and the camera will stick out more.
Ive needs to calm down with the super thinning of iPhone.

But..I honestly believe that iPhone 7 will be the REAL big update to iPhone.
iPhone 7 = iOS X / iOS 10
Many reasons why. But I am sure it will have quad core4GB of RAM and super 16mp camera.

So...They can't make it thinner without reducing battery.

Sadly Apple will make it thinner. Will be iPod Touch thin soon.

If they keep making it thinner then eventually we won't be able to use a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Apple might want to migrate to Lightning headphones in the future. They announced a module supporting controls and apps at WWDC earlier this year, and Philips is releasing a pair of Lightning-connected headphones in December.

There is pretty much no reason for it to become any slimmer. I wouldn't mind if they increased the thickness back to 9mm or so like the iPhone 4

Sadly, I'm certain they'll make it thinner and I'll have to continue to rely on battery cases. I really don't understand how people manage to get a full day's use out of their phones without one. I barely make it 7 hours on my iPhone 6 with light use.

Keep the screen size but trim the fat around it to make the Plus more digestible.

Should iPhone 7 be thinner than iPhone 6 ? If it were to be

It'll be thinner. The iPad is 6.1, I would not be surprised if the 4.7" iPhone 7 is around the same. It sucks that we have to wait two years for the bezel to be smaller.

It will be a piece of paper with a flexible screen and a nano processor.

Battery life will be 10 minutes screen on time.

I hope not. I want it thicker. Making it thinner sacrificing battery life and making them prone to bending. Leave it as is and make the gains in thinness for extra battery capacity. I don't see hardly anyone wanting s thinner phone but tons and tons want more battery life. They killed two hours of battery life in the iPad by going even thinner.

7 hours? light use? c'mon.
