Anyone here that has a Mac knows about the Dashboard. The little button on the keyboard that brings up all these widgets for weather, clock, etc. Do you guys think Apple should implement this on the iPhone? Like, on the homescreen, you pinch in to launch the Dashboard (similar to HTC Sense's quick page selection).

Any thoughts on this? I think it'd be cool.

those little widgets constantly pull data. most people i know with android phones turn them off to save battery life. granted, it'd be cool to see how apple would implement them, but the iphone is all about quick access to your apps.

Yeah, but from what I've noticed on my iMac, when I pull it up, everything gets refreshed, meaning that it's on a saved state until then (like the multi-tasking in iOS).
