RIM down 16% today. Forecast is what killed the stock today, I think the financials are pretty much priced in (at least for this quarter). They basically said "our business is declining, and its going to continue, so we're going to start laying people off." Firmly fixed into the death spiral now.

A buy-out by Microsoft would flush the image and product line down the toilet.

If MS were going to do that they should have done it 2 years ago. They've spend the $$$ on Windows Phone 7. If they were buying Blackberry it'd be for the OS. I can't see them being able to combine the BBOS with Phone 7 quickly or easily.
