I mean these technologies are already in the iPhone. The screen has me scared to get one though. The idea of the touch is great, but it's hard to tell if the problems with it are truly isolated.

Almost identical to another thread! Anyway I see it as a 1.1. The screen issues also affected a batch of iPhones - so it's still essentially a derivative (I don't like to say "cut-down version") of the iPhone.

lol u say that cause I asked the same question in another thread I posted in and you answered it. But I thought it was a good question so I decided to make a thread out of it.
Looks like the screen certainly could have used some extensive testing and there seem to be lots of bugs (iPhone-references, crashes, general slowness) people are reporting that should have been caught in beta testing...
