Should We Read Into the Aluminum Background in the WWDC Invite?

Take a look at the aluminum all around the invite to WWDC 2011? Could that be a subtle message that the next iPhone will follow the rest of Apple's latest products and return to its all aluminum roots? Am I reading too much into it?

I think the aluminium is referring to the Mac/OSX side of this event. The apps would obviously represent the iOS portion.

Well, I imagine that given the massive number of sources coming out with the no hardware info at WWDC 11 on the day that it opens for registration, you'll have to keep hoping.

Looks to me like they want to get the word out as soon as possible so that their stock does not tank due to a "missed" intro date on the iPhone 5 or whatever the next one gets called.

did u read into this last year when their WWDC '10 background was also the same silver gradient and assume the iphone4 would be aluminium?
