That is incorrect. pod2g has said it is days away. I updated my iPad this morning and my iPhone 4 a few days ago.

Btw I updated my iPad to 5.1.1 but gonna wait for release and test on my iPad before updating my iPhone since its already jailbroken on 5.0.1

Personally, I would upgrade, get the ipad set up the way you want it, then do a full back up. then just wait of the jailbreak to come out.

Just update when the Jailbreak is ready , I'm already on 5.1.1 on my iPad 2 and waiting . Hopefully It will come out soon .
