Shouldn't side button contacts have their contact photos show?

Is anyone else seeing this? I thought that if a contact had a contact photo is was suppose to show here. I'm just seeing colors. The only contact I see a photo for is my own. What's really interesting is my own (the MP) has the initials on the little circle as do the people with out contact photos. Everyone else with a contact photo shows a color.

What are you guys seeing?

Had the same problem, I unpaired the watch and paired as new watch and it shows my favorites pics in now.

I've not had any trouble with those showing - try unpairing and repairing

contact photos don't show up (no icons)

i have photos for my contacts and they don't show up, only 1 out of 9 does. every one else on the phone dialer just shows up as initials. any way to get the watch the show the photo icons?

If you do a search, you will find that this has been asked and answered.

Using the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, delete and re-add your favorites. It will restore the pictures.

As mentioned above. You must go into the Apple watch app on your phone... Go into friends....then one by one manually delete them and re-add them

Many users have reported this problem when they migrated their iPhone favorites to their Apple Watch during setup. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and delete all your friends, then add them again and that should fix it, their photos will then appear.

It was late last night so I didn't check thoroughly but it seems I've lost all of my contacts except the very last one I used and even that one doesn't come up. Going to do the re-pairing and see if that brings it back.
