when I had the chance. I'm waiting for another price drop but god these things aren't going below $300 still
 
If I were you, I'd sign up for NewEgg's newsletter. Every morning they will send you a daily deals email and there's usually good deals on SSD's on there. That's how I got a hold of mine.
 
I see good deals (at least $1 per GB or better) for those hard drives every few weeks, it feels like.

Keep alerts on all the deals sites and you should be able to get one at a decent price in no time.
