I originally posted this in the Digital Photography forums, perhaps that wasn't the right place, as I got no replies. Perhaps some of you in the Applications forums can help me out.

I recently upgraded to Aperture 3. I have the latest version of iPhoto 09. Typically, I use Aperture to import photos from my DSLR, edit them in Aperture/Photoshop, then use iPhoto to reference the Aperture preview jpegs by selecting the "Show Aperture Library" option from iPhoto's File menu. This way I have a nice, lighter, simple interface for browsing all of my photos as well as uploading them to all my online locations (I know you can do this in Aperture 3 now.)

Anyways, now that I've upgraded, the "Show Aperture Library" menu item is gone. I've searched online, and have read you need to make sure the "Share previews with iLife applications" is checked, and it is. I also read to try repairing disc permissions. That didn't work either.

Anyone have any advice? Otherwise, my best bet is to manually export all the edited photos, then drag them into iPhoto, although that will create a duplicate, which I do not want.

Thanks in advance.
