Hi,

On Windows Im used to doule clicking a ZIP file and seeing its content. On Mac + Firefox, it downloads the file, I double click it and it opens it, but I have to go to the destination folder where Firefox saves file to see the files.

Is there a way to show contents of ZIP that are downloaded (in the firefox download window)?

thanks

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-gb) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

I don't believe that is possible. You have to unarchive it first.

Thanks, Ill give those a shot.

A bit strange, on Windows after a download in Firefox you double click it opens, lets me see inside the zip. Why on the Mac double clicks open it, then I have to go where it is saved and see contents?

Is this just a Firefox + Mac thing or a Mac thing?

Thanks!

Hi, everyone

Betterzip is nice. But what I wanted is, when I download a file via firefox, be able to double click that zip file and view its contents without having to browse to that file in the desktop (in the firefox download window double click and preview zip). Not a big deal, but havent found a way, if anyone knows...

Thanks
