Hi,

I started using an external monitor recently for my MacBook Pro and I don't know if this is a Mac thing or something I'm doing wrong but sometimes windows popup on the wrong screen, is it possible to configure this without using spaces?

Just to give you an example:

I am using the external monitor as the "main" one and have the dock set to it. My Macbook monitor is used for other stuff, most often the mail app in maximized mode (not fullscreen).

This morning when I launched 1Password from the "main" monitor the application window opened up on the correct screen but the TouchID window showed up on my MacBook monitor.

This happens quite often on many other applications also especially when there is a dialog window involved. Not only that but sometimes the dialog opens up on the wrong monitor and **behind** other applications which makes it even more difficult to see.

I can't even count how many times I've been cursing because I thought that the Excel app froze for no reason and after a while realize that a dialog window is hiding behind another application on the second screen.

Same thing happens with Outlook desktop app. If I have the main app on my laptop screen and click on mail notification on my external screen (where the dock is), a new window for that mail opens up on my MacBook screen instead of the external screen where I clicked on the notification.

Is it possible with a builtin option or a 3rd party app to configure window settings so they always show dialogs, new windows etc on the screen where the application is active (this interfere with my example above but i hope you understand where I'm going) or where the mouse cursor is located?

Thanks!
