SHOW FILE in iPhoto is no longer working

Hi, i recently copied my internal iphoto lib to an external lib because I was running out of space. Everything was fine, i can chose either lib by holding down on the option key when opening iphoto and chose the lib i want to open. I can also right click on a photo in iphone and chose SHOW FILE and efinder will launch and show me the physical path of that photo. But today, that feature doesn't work on the lib on my external hard drive. Not sure what happened, i believe i downloaded a patch from apple recently, not sure if that may have caused it. My external drive is the new seagate free agent 1.5 tb with firewire 800.
