Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I have search high and low all over the web and can't seem to find the answer. Is there a way to hide the extension for a certain file type globally without hiding all file extensions? I want to hide the .webloc extension from links I drag to my desktop, but don't want to manually set it for each link. Is there a way to set the option to always hide that particular extension? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
