Friends: When I airdrop to my Sequoia-ed MBA, it gives me "airdrop complete" notification and prompts me to either open or show in finder.

Aside from my ABSOLUTE HATRED of pop-up notifications, I'd much rather have the downloads folder automatically open showing me the files I've just dropped, rather than have the notification window--I can't think of a time I'd desire to have a file open, since I'm more likely to need to drag it into an active document. This was standard until recently, and I'm sick of these useless changes from Apple.

Anybody got a terminal command or know where the setting for this is?

I don't know how to stop notifications or dialog boxes with AirDrop.

It's easy to make a Folder Action in Automator that will open the Downloads folder when something is added to it…using "Run Shell Script" with the command "open ~/Downloads".

I did notice that eventually the notification retreats offscreen, so perhaps this will be a reasonable solution--thanks!
