As it is now, my macbook pro just logs into my account in OS X at boot. I would like it to be more secure, so when booting up, I will have to provide my password, before accessing OS X. Eg. The same screen you get to when you log out of your MAC. Can someone tell me how to do this?

Open System Prefs goto Accounts click 'Login Options' (You may have to click the lock at the bottom so you can make changes) and then uncheck the 'Automatically login as...' box.

Sorted. :)
