Please tell this is fast charging. How fast does it charge?

Not as fast as a wired cable... but close I'd say. I haven't put a stopwatch to it or anything... I came home earlier with the phone at 80%... stuck it on the charger while I was on the PC... and when picked it up 30 mins later it was done.

It was probably quicker than 30 mins to charge that 20%... but I honestly wasn't paying attention.

At what watt? 29w?

The specs say 10W. I've got it plugged in via USB to my PC.

Makes no difference to me either way... the wireless charging is more of a quick convenience... it isn't going to replace wired charging this year I don't think... and I still have cables around the house for that reason.

Does the 8 even support "fast charging" wirelessly? I thought I read something recently about someone using a 70W wireless charger but don't recall exactly...

Not bad for 10w. If you actually get higher watts, i'm sure your situation would change.

I may look into it. As said right now it's more of a convenience... throw it on the wireless charger when I'm on the PC or before I go to bed.

In both cases the speed doesn't really matter. If the battery were low and I needed a fast charge I'd probably use a cable.

I plan on testing it this week just to see how fast the wireless charging is.
