I still haven't put my hands on the iPhone 11 Pro. Would appreciate if someone will shoot it in Super Steady 4K 60fps HDR10+ (extended dynamic range or cinematic) mode.
Would appreciate also full size mp4 uploads, not just YouTube. Considering buying it when Christmas offers arrive. Meanwhile, I'll want to compare it with my V50.

Here's what V50 can do without Hdr10...

Searched a lot over the net and it seems that in YouTube iphone does not capture real 4k 60fps HDR.
Example 1:

Example 2:

On the other hand LG V50 can!

Can someone please shoot 4k HDR and upload the original shooting?
Something is not right.

I mean HDR10

From what I can see, it will record at 4K 60, but there is no mention of HDR10 support.

Apple are quoting EDR (extended dynamic range), but not HDR10.

I’m not surprised that it’s not showing at 4K on YouTube though as I think there is an ongoing “battle” between the 2 companies.

This is why you can’t view any 4K videos on Apple TV 4K. (Happy to be corrected on any of this)

Hmmmm, something is fishy...
Apple's so called HDR seems like it's not genuine.
Waiting for someone to upload one original full hdr movie over Google drive or Dropbox like website for easy downloading.
I want to compare it.

The iPhone does not shoot in the real HDR10. It shoots in a variant of the HDR used for photos which is not to be confused with HDR10 etc. In a way it's simply a marketing term used by Apple to promote its camera system etc.

So it's not genuine/authentic HDR. A13 Bionic the fastest ISP my @$$.

But I still don't understand why no one bothers to upload a 4k apple video...

I’ll try and do one tomorrow, but I don’t know how much chance I’ll get with work.
I will either Dropbox it or put it up on Vimeo.
No point on YouTube as I don’t think you can from an Apple device in 4K

The video is encoded in a regular sdr container, basically doing tonemapped hdr like how hdr photography works.

In the types of shots that the iPhone XS would blow out the highlights (eg shooting a person with a bright sky in the background), the sky appears blue.

it’s not “fake” hdr, but it is also not hdr10.
