Show photos by device iCloud

Is there a way to sort photos by device in iCloud or even selectively restrict photos by device?

My family shares an iCloud account and my spouse doesn't want to see my kid's pictures (which they take frequently).

This might be solved by having everyone have different iCloud accounts using the family account but I want to make sure everything still gets backed up to the cloud and available to see on our home iMac.

I am open to suggestions and appreciate any help.
