Show total files size in folder

Currently, when the status bar is enabled. I can see how many files there are in the folder and much space there is left in the SSD. But can I change it so it shows how big the files are in total?

I much rather have that info than knowing how many gb I got left..

Example:

It says how many files there are and the available space.


I know you can press ''space'' and it'll open the folder in preview style (i use this a lot for photos), and this time it will give me the total size of the files in that folder.

But is there a way to put this into in the status bar?
