I have an iPhone4 (running 5.1) for which I'm trying to save the SHSH blobs before upgrading to iOS7.

Both iFaith and redsn0w claim they successfully extract and upload the blobs to the servers.
But when I try to request the blobs from the servers, there are no blobs available?

How can I save my blobs (for future downgrading) before upgrading?

(see pictures)

They are saved, but to actually be able to use them in the future, you have to save them locally. Make sure you "dump" your blobs though. Email them to yourself or put them on a flash drive so you cant lose them.

dump your 5.1.1 blobs using ifaith before updating. that will update to ifaith's server

and also make sure to keep a local copy somewhere to be safe

Thanks for your answers, guys.

That clears some things up.

iFaith does not save to any servers for me... Or does it? That's why I posted. Because I could not find them when requesting the server. See pic:

And... Are these my locally saved blobs?

(stored on a NAS with RAID)

yes, the .ifaith blob is your locally saved blob for 5.1
the .shsh is your locally saved blob for 7.1.1

usually it's instant but maybe there's some processing time or they're not hosting anymore blobs at the moment

Thanks, guys.

And am I right in saying that with my blobs, I can downgrade from ANY version so far, including 7.1.1 ?
I can safely upgrade from 5.1 to 7.1.1 without closing the possibility to downgrade again?

assuming those are complete blobs, yes, it will allow you to downgrade your iPhone 4 to 5.1

edit: you will need to have itunes 11.0.5 and under to downgrade (or you can use redsn0w)
