Shsh?

I've been hearing a lot of talk that this new jb will require SHSH of some specific kind, but i'm not too sure what that means.

In cydia at the very top for me it says: SHSH iOS 4.1, 4.2.1, 4.2b3

will someone kindly fill me on on what SHSH is, and what concern it has with the new jb?

You have 4.2b3 so you will be able to use it.
