iPod Shuffle and Syncing iPod/iPhone: Shuffled List Doesn't Appear on iPod

I have several playlists which are shuffled in iTunes.

When I attach my iPod or iPhone, it syncs the playlists, but puts the lists in alphabetical order by artist.

I have to reshuffle the playlist and then click sync again in order to get it to sync.

Prior to this, everytime I plugged in my iPod/iPhone, it would automatically reshuffle the playlist and sync it.

Has anyone else had problems with this and found a solution?

After the sync, are you sure they have the same name and the same contents? Sometimes even a different playback times can cause to sync again
