Shuffle Songs?

Hey i recently restored my iphone and i noticed that if i choose a song, the same song comes after it everytime no matter what i do. Has that always been like that or have i just not noticed it?

wow im an idiot....i didnt even have shuffle on, the songs just went in order due to the alphabet but i didnt notice it because the song i chose was the last one in the K list and the next one was L
