Shuffle TV Shows and Movies

Hey Guys,

I really want an tv but there is only one thing that would justify the purchase for me. I want to load all the TV shows I have on it and shuffle them. I have a lot of shows on DVD and it is always a pain to pick an episode. I would like a device that cycles through them for me. Seems silly, but that is what I really want.

Is there any way I can do it with the tv? I dont think so. Seems like it should be there though.

I need that too

I use my ATV in my fitness club for a huge flat screen that we have on the wall. We play all kind of extreme sports videos on it and every time one ends, we have to manually select the next one.

Would love to have them play automatically in shuffle mode.

Thanks, I thought so too. I dont get why this hasnt already been put in place!

People channel surf all the time and watch re-runs. Those same people go out and buy the shows on DVD. Wouldnt it be worth the price of an tv to just have the shows you like always playing in random order? It is like your own private syndication channel without commercials!

Is there any product out there... any at all that can do this?

I'd love to see this, too. We have lots of TV shows on it - including all 11 seasons of M*A*S*H. We'd LOVE to be able to shuffle through them all, just like music on an iPod instead of scrolling and clicking each time.
