Is it possible to make shuffle choose which songs it plays weighted by star rating? Meaning make shuffle play 5 star songs more frequently than 4 star songs more than 3 star, more than 2 and 1 least frequently?

I'm on OS 10.3, so if you have a solution for 10.4 I'd be interested to hear it, but it won't help me at the moment.

Well I did some more research and I found that party shuffle mode lets me do that. It doesn't really give me the level of settings that I'm looking for. I have a huge library of songs, but I've only rated a small fraction of them, so even with "Play higher rated songs more often" checked off it still loads up mostly songs that are unrated yet.

Is there a way to set "Do not play unrated songs in party shuffle mode" ?

Easy!
Make a smart playlist that updates automatically with the rule of excluding songs without stars. Then use that playlist as source in party mix mode (instead of the whole library).
