iPod Shuffle

Hey!
I have a 30gb 5G ipod, but am looking for something smaller to take to school, and something light i can carry on my walk to school. I came accross the new ipod shuffle. If I did buy one, would I be able to share the same itunes with both ipod's, and would I be able to transfer selected song to the shuffle? What do you think?
