shuffling music

Apple Watch newbie here! I have a series 3, 42mm, gps. When I attempt to listen to music on the watch via bluetooth earbuds, I have a playlist with a couple hundred songs that I cannot get to shuffle. No matter what I do, it opens to the same starting song, and plays the list in the same order every time. Any idea how to mix it up? I can't find a shuffle button...

Open the music app on your watch, scroll down, click “Shuffle All”
