I just got the gumption to order them.

I sure hope they are comfortable and sound good.

Jeebus that is a lot of money.

Tired of my Apple in-ear phones (save those for running), and my Bose "cans" are just too big (plus on side just broke and I had to tape them together).

I've gone through more damn headphones. I hope these are the last for a while.

Hrumph.
Gary, i feel somewhat blanked by you!
I started an E3c thread :( :(
They are built solid and should last. You get a 2 year warranty anyway!
Do a search and my thread should pop up with some tips to use them!

Search? What's that?

I'm just being an attention whore and need some condolences for the 179.00 that just flew out of my wallet. Considering I'm hooked into music about 12 hours a day, I don't know why I'm sweating it.

OK, I guess I could search but has anyone done a decent review of these puppies?

I recently discovered I didn't mind my ipod earphones much after having sworn-off in-ear earphones forever (I normally use Philips HS800's, which are neck-phones), but again they started to annoy after a little while. I also find some cheaper neck-phones apply too much pressure to my ears so they feel a little bruised after an hour on the train!
