Sibelius 5: 1/2 price. Buy now or wait for 6?

Hi,

Sibelius 5 upgrade is now 1/2 price this week, Dec 8-12.

So this means that Sibelius 6 is not long in comming. Any ideas how long (based on past experience)? I'm leaning towards waiting for version 6 but I'm not 100% sure (I'm currently running version 1.2 for Windows in VMWare Fusion). I know this is my personal decision but I welcome any opinions, info, etc. on getting 5 now for $85 or 6 later for probably $170. I don't need to upgrade immediately.

P.S. Thread title should read: "Sibelius 5 *Upgrade*: 1/2 price. Buy now or wait for 6?" Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Sibelius 6 Professional Version MAC / PC

The Sibelius 6 Upgrade has now been released so you can get your updated version from Sibelius or shop around for some good upgrade prices....I've just received the upgrade so make sure you're Mac can handle it! Most macs can fortunately.

I think this is the release that will tie in Cubase and all the 3rd party software plugins which have never before had the chance to integrate. I think this was the only way to go for Sibelius as far as a new version was concerned.

I have a Keystudio 49i keyboard with built-in sound card which will allow me to record my voice and notate it! Now, that's amazing!
