hi,

im hoping someone can advise me.

I work with sibelius 5 on a 2005 ibook 1.42GHz with 1GB DDR SDRAM. I have the ibook connected to a larger screen for writing the notation.

The problem is sibelius is running quite sluggish on this ibook.

Does any one know if the current whitemacbook would easily handle sibelius 5?

is anyone using sibelius 5 on this mac model

any advice would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Hi,

I use sibelius 5 on my white MB Late 2007 2.2Ghz 4Go and it runs just fine.
So I assume it would work fine on the new ones.

thanks for that jmp,

so you have no delays on sibelius, everything runs v smooth

heh JMP or anyone else

will there be a notable difference in using sibelius 5 on an ibook 1.42Ghz and the latest white macbook 2.0 Ghz ?

thanks alot

I have Sibelius 5 on my brand new Whitebook Nvidia, runs like a dream. Takes a little longer to start up than it does on a PC, (in my experience) but it runs perfectly after that :) Good luck in your purchase of a Macbook!
